Also - saffron tea? I would LOVE to find more things to do with saffron :)

The saffron tea I had in Moscow Jagannath was almost the same as this one, but with saffron added :). I'd add the saffron threads together with cinnamon and raisins. It gives the tea a more intense yellow color and a special aroma.

What also comes to mind is bouillabaisse (delicious Marseille fish soup) - needs lots of saffron. I took part in making it twice, here are the posts:

And surely - paella :) much easier then the bouillabaisse, very rewarding
