Yum! This is very similar to my favorite recipe.. I didn't realize how easy creamed corn is to make and how much better cornbread is for it!

I'm dying to make this, but am in the UK - does anyone know a UK-available equivalent for cream style corn?

yes, just use regular canned corn, or previously frozen, and put it in a food processor or blender to chop it up, or break it up a little and add a little cream and butter to it.
