I was wondering if any of you have a favorite quiche recipe that you would like to share? I have been craving quiche all week (no idea why), so I figured I should make one this weekend. I was just curious to see what kinds of variations people had. Thanks!

I sauteed onions, carrot, broccoli and garlic and wilted some spinach. I used jarlsberg cheese. I used 4 eggs and I didn't have any milk so I used a big spoonful of lite sour cream, which worked out fabulously!

pre-bake your pie shells for about 10 minutes and let cool
Filling
1 brick cream cheese
1 cup milk
4 eggs
fave fillings (onion and ham are nice as are spinach) they should be cooked to get rid of moisture
more cheese
the beauty of quiche is that it is so versital
take the milk and heat it on low with the cream cheese until the cheese has melted. whisk the eggs and then temper them with a bit if the cream cheese mixture to bring them up to temp so they don't scramble
take your other ingredients (ham, veggies, cheese) and spread out in the pre-baked pie shell, then fill with the egg mixture and then top with a bit of extra grated cheese
bake at 350 until set - about 45 minute to an hour depending on how deep your quiche is(don't overbake)
let stand about 15 minutes before serving
