I really want to make this Creamy Pumpkin Pie with Cranberry Topping for Thanksgiving, but I don't eat sugar and would like some input on making this sugar free and if you think it will work.

Recipe Here )

diet: low-sugar, holiday: thanksgiving, fruit: cranberry

Yeah, but the brown sugar blend still has sugar in it. And molasses is sadly also in the category of sugar, which I cannot eat :(

Oh great! All I could find on Google was links to buy brown "sugar" sweetener, and I didn't really feel like paying to rush ship any of that. Thanks for your help!

Agave is still very high sugar.

It's a low-GI sweetener.

I haven't asked my doctor specifically about agave, so I don't know. Would it have a flavor similar to the brown sugar?

You are along the right lines for the sugar. Dont mix in Maple syrup, it will not provide the "right taste" instead use molasses. About half a tablespoon will be good. Molasses is what they use when they make brown sugar.
