I have made this a couple times, and I really liked it, although my husband thought it was too orangey. :)

I think maybe if you dredge the chicken in flour first (like she does in the recipe above), that would help to thicken the final product. I do that for things like beef stew as well.

I knew that worked with stovetop stews, but wasn't sure that it would help with crock pots as well. I'll give it a try!

Hm, that's the one that I tried, although I definitely admit that I messed it up by taking a commentor's advice and using orange juice instead of the frozen concentrate.

ETA: Oh wait, no, that's the one that I *thought* about using. Clearly, I should have gone with my first instinct! I'll try this one next, thank you for the recommendation!
