Cream of wheat and instant oatmeal were my fallbacks when I got my wisdom teeth out.

Can you have mildly chewy things like chicken? tuna fish salad? Pulled pork?

Yeah, they said I could have chicken on the first day, though I think that would have been very painful. At this point I can handle it.

mashed potatoes, applesauce, yogurt, canned peaches pears or mandarin oranges, bananas, sloppy joes?

ice cream or frozen yogurt, soup (not TOO hot), pudding, eggs/omelets, smoothies, beans, soft tacos, muffins.
no straws, and ice packs on the cheeks really do help if you're still experiencing discomfort or pain.
