muffins are a easy way to do breakfast

so is quiche (that can be served cold)

regarding steaks - what kind of steaks are they? the kind sort of dictates the preperation

Coffee cake!! Can be baking in the oven while you shower and otherwise get ready for Sunday School, or can be made the night before. A 9x13 pan of coffee cake should serve 20 people.

I excel at group breakfasts as we have them often, and for as many as 25-35 people. What you can prepare the night before is crucial to not being frazzled in the morning. Let me share with you three of my favorite recipes.

This first one, I just fixed this past Sunday morning when we had 8 in the house and then suddenly 13 more.

Breakfast Fritata1/2 loaf French bread ( ... )

Ahoy there fellow Penzey's lover.

How is the Ozark seasoning? I love their Vindaloo seasoning.

I'm a Penzey's fanatic; keep store cinnamon around just to do a sniff-test with China Cassia with all my friends. I've won over many a gal to Penzey's that way.

I've not tried their Vindaloo seasoning but I love the Ozark. It's great for breakfast stuff with sausage; dab of mustard without being overpowering.

I do the sniff-test of McCormick's versus Pensey's China Cassia. OMG what a huge difference! It makes apple pie taste outstanding.

I would go with muffins, make 'em from a mix and it's even cheaper/easier and you can do a variety. Here's a recipe for French Breakfast Muffins, they are actually better re-heated the next day and taste like coffee cake. And since I always have these ingredients on hand they're my go to recipe for breakfast.

Muffins
1 1/2 cups + 2 tbsp flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
1 egg beaten with 2/3 cup melted butter

Coating
1/3 cup melted butter mixed with 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon

Combine the first five muffin ingredients.
Add milk and egg/butter mixture.
Pour in greased or lined muffin pans, fill half full.
Bake at 400F for 15 mins-check with a toothpick.

Remove from pan, cool slightly, until able to touch, but still warm.
Dip in melted butter/vanilla then into cinnamon sugar mixture.

Serve warm.
