Easter Cuppy Cakes
A friend of mine is hosting an egg-dying party on Easter Sunday, and I thought I'd bake something for it.

I'm planning to use this recipe for white cake, I've used it before for a sheet cake and the texture and taste is really good.

White Cake, scaled to make 36 cupcakes:

That sounds yum! Hmmm... I wonder how it would be with pistachio pudding. ~ponders a trip to the market~

To the op: have you ever made buttercream with butter instead of margarine/shortening? Some people prefer the taste/texture, some do not. YMMV. Whichever you choose, I think this sounds great!

I have, but not wilton's... just the one my mom used that I was never that fond of. :)

Whenever I think of spring/easter cupcakes, lemon curd filling is the first thing that pops into my head. Maybe because it's so springish and fresh!

Also, you could use a little food coloring to tint the frosting in pretty pastel colors.
