Just a few places to look for more ideas:

Gode Cookery, and assorted links off that page....my husband and I use recipes off sections of this site, all the time, though we haven't tried a lot of the desserts, yet.

Oh, cool! Yeah, that would be very hard to verify but a good story, one way or the other. I'm definitely taking this one down; not sure how transportable these would be as we're travelling 4 hours to get there and then with no refrigeration.

But I'm definitely going to try this recipe! Thanks muchly!

I lean towards the faerie cakes, as I have made for the ritual group I used to teach with.

I took a quick peek at your journal....you are very cool. I too was handfasted...but over in Afghanistan and then legally last July.

Why, thanks!

I may try the faerie cakes, they sound easy to transport which is a biggie here.

Our handfasting was wonderful; the official wedding is this fall, same place, same time...lots more people!

I met my husband while working in a military base and got handfasted there, since all the 600 people (was supposed to be only 6) could not travel to canda. Our official wedding last July we had 35 people and had it in our backyard.
