i would think some traditional "southern" food or southwest - like tex mex - would be a nice treat.

how do you like spain? ill be heading to salamanca in march. are you staying with a host family?

I didn't even think of Southern food or Tex Mex! So many great ideas... now I just have to decide what to bring :)

I love it here, I've been here since January 5. I'm staying with a host family and attending the University (Zaragoza). I know someone who stayed in Salamanca fall semester.

Fried chicken, chicken fried steak, fried potatoes, corn bread, fried okra, fried green tomatoes...heh, all fried. :-S But look up southern and soul food.
