I found a lot to love about this episode, much that could have been improved upon and nothing to hate. There are some things I'll have to reserve judgment on.
Lots of interesting, thinky thoughts! I did buy Dean knowing carpentry though, 'cuz I figured John occasionally had to earn an honest buck all those long years, and the odd handyman job is easy to find and quick to finish. I figured he would have roped Dean into helping him as soon as he could.
Besides, all hunters need to know enough carpentry to make stakes. ;-)
I felt the episode was missing Ben too. He was such a loud presence in the other episode, it seemed weird that he hardly spoke. And I'm definitely interested in learning more about the Campbells, as they seemed a little questionable. Hunters since the Mayflower but unknown to the community? Is there a reason they keep such a low-profile?
