After reading misspuppet's post about Christmas in the Netherlands, her reaction to the Downton Christmas special and seeing her Icon for Maureen Thornton (Her OC in Romance must advertise [Go and read it!]) I had to do it again.
She said that Maureen reminded her of Olivia King-Dale from "Road to Avonlea" and after I googled it (because I ( Read more... )

Oh wow, they are amazing!! You did such a great job with them and you found tons of more pictures than I did.
Especially the wedding picture is adorable... and who knows ;) But my favorite must be nr 4, I love the look between them!
And the Isobel/Wellington icon... it´s like they´re sitting next to each other on the second one.
Thank you so, so much, I love them!

Yes! You like them! Thank you! *shines in glory*
Interrestingly I did not find the picture that you used during my search. o.O
*wants a wedding* *or a Mini-Clarkson*
It took me quite a while to find a good Clarkson picture that matched hers even though he's not in so much episodes in series 1.
I didn't even notice that it looks like they're sitting next to each other until you mentioned it. Good thing Dr.Clarkson has blond hair.^^
You're absolutely welcome. =)

OMG!!! I just realized... Charles Dance is the Phantom of the Opera!!! I didn´t recognize him without the mask and it has been years since I´ve seen that movie. *headdesk*

Isobel/Wellington the musical... oh goodness!

Yes, he is! :D
That may be a reason why you did not recognize him. Time to rewatch it. ^^
He was also in Gosford Park, which as we all know JF wrote. And he played Lord Vetinari in Terry Pratchett's Going Postal. I love it when he plays villains.
Uuuuuh. And he played Ian Fleming in "Goldfinger" (not the Bond film though). And his wife was played by no other than our dear Mrs Hughes.

Don't give me ideas. :D

Is that movie still available on DVD than? It´s my sister´s favorite... we watched it years ago when we borrowed a very scratchy copy from my cousins. They all cried buckets...
And since my sister is a bit more of an expert on Charles Dance than I am... he was also the director of ´Ladies in Lavender´

And speaking of a musical, this song from Scala & Kolacny brothers will always remind of Timothy and Isobel:

It's still avaible on DVD. The prices differ from 10€ to 21 Pound. I haven't found a dutch amazon page... do you still have amazon in the Netherlands though? I remember something about them leaving the market there? o.O
It has been forever since I saw it... hmm... time to rewatch.
I never watched Ladies in Lavender, even though Maggie Smith, Judi Dench and Daniel Brühl are in it... time to accept that I'm insane.^^

I love that version of the song! It's just beautiful. =)
