I haven't done one of these in a long while. For those new to my journal, this began as a challenge to find 100 things that made me smile, excluding obvious answers like 'chocolate' or 'significant other'. I struggled with the first list. As a matter of fact, it took me more than two years to compile it. But then I came to the realization that

Warm pavement under bare feet makes me a happy critter, too. Reminds me of when I was little, and dad let me help wash the truck. It was my job to wash the wheels :-D
