Ooo, I've always loved Milton, but then I'm pretty much a book geek. Milton though? Great thoughts on evil, the nature of it, etc.

I'm glad you're liking him better this time around. *totters off to read more Tennyson*

heh...yeah. The last time I tried to read Milton it was my first quarter back at school after a few years of never taking more than 1 or 2 classes at a time at community college, and I think it had been something like 3-4 years since the last time I had taken a Lit class, so my brain wasn't quite working in that literary way at the time, and Milton was, like, incomprehensible for me at the time ( ... )

Books can be like that, if your brain's not in the right head-space. I remember trying to read some books at times as akin to running head-long into a brick wall. And then when you read them again several months later, it's wonderful. Strange, that.

Well, the Tennyson is for fun (oh, that I could get credit for reading Tennyson). What I'm not doing is my Linguistics reading. :D
