Okay, I'm weirding myself out because I'm enjoying Paradise Lost a little bit. Just a little bit. It's freaking me out because I HATED it the last time I had to try to read it. But I keep finding quotes in it this time around that are fascinating

Ooo, I've always loved Milton, but then I'm pretty much a book geek. Milton though? Great thoughts on evil, the nature of it, etc.

heh...yeah. The last time I tried to read Milton it was my first quarter back at school after a few years of never taking more than 1 or 2 classes at a time at community college, and I think it had been something like 3-4 years since the last time I had taken a Lit class, so my brain wasn't quite working in that literary way at the time, and Milton was, like, incomprehensible for me at the time

Books can be like that, if your brain's not in the right head-space. I remember trying to read some books at times as akin to running head-long into a brick wall. And then when you read them again several months later, it's wonderful. Strange, that.

Well, the Tennyson is for fun (oh, that I could get credit for reading Tennyson). What I'm not doing is my Linguistics reading. :D
