That was ingenious. Voyeuristic watching of Moulin Rouge. And I liked this touch:

Yesterday I dragged Ewan into the darkest depths of his soul and made him sob like a child that's lost his mother.

It was fascinating, and heartbreaking, and I could believe it, which really surprised me, yet grabbed me at the same time.

The idea of them being so taken by the characters is great. (It would be interesting to see how Nic would be affected, especially given what was going on with her real life during the time. Yes, I know it diverges, but, an interesting side note.)

You and your insanely good writing skills.

And Baz was great. I loved the inner dialogue, and it's wonderful to have it from his POV, unusual. Love to see more of that from you.

Good stuff. And yay! The voyeur challenge. I know zarah posted it but I still feel kind of responsible for it. *laughs* (Now if only I could find time to write my own story!)
