This is... wonderfully bitter, sweet with that certain note of longing, but somehow still lazy and laid-back and just... yes. Not to mention, Josh/Ewan: We wants it, oh dear sweet god yes. (Or, you could always write a Josh/Orli sequel. Not that I'm like, trying to imply anything here. Never ever would I do that. Not me.)
Liked Josh's inner voice. A lot. His sarcasm, that made everything so bitter, but somehow... how do I put this? Not a mean kind of bitter. Lingering sadness. Or something.
Bittersweetness... I'm agreeing with Zarah. Josh wanting it one way but knowing that ain't gonna happen, yet also sorta likes whats going on... Goddess, I'm goin analytical. Ignore me, I need to go scream at my English teacher for makin me now analyze stories. -_-;
Fantastic fic! Love it! ^_^ [always gotta add in the "love it"s]

Cause, yeah. Bitter & longing, but not sad, but not happy.

He likes it & hates himself for liking it, for making things complicated, when that's not what he wants.
