I liked it very much how you mixed the two together as if showing it from various angles. And Track B was so sad. I almost cried. Amazing detail for so little amount of time as well. Loved this.

*grin* thanks! and the mixing was nixed from the Stak Trek book "Q Squared", where (by the end) it's going back and forth so quickly that you can hardly keep the tracks seperate anymore.

Thanks for reading!

...oh HELL no there is nothing wrong with this addiction! And this is really wonderful writing -- very easy to follow both tracks and nice repetition without it getting redundant and quite romantic even in the tragic arc which is just the way I like it. Really, really beautifully done.

going out on a limb here, but what on earth does "disequilibrium" mean? Know Equil... is the name of the movie, but "dis"? //is teh confused

And is there ANY way I can convince you into writing this pairing? I'm bored of only having mine and other people's drabbles to read when I need a fix.

Disequilibrium means off-balance or a state of instability. I just liked the idea of Sean being thrown out of whack by gazing at Christian Bale...well, their characters. You know what I mean! *g*

As for writing Alec/James...I am SO bad at spy stuff! I could probably write pure smut, but there couldn't be any plot whatsoever or I'd confuse myself!

I really enjoyed this, love how the tracks flow so smoothly, fit together seamlessly. Track A was tense and I couldn't wait to see how it was going to end. Track B I knew would inevitably end sadly. I definitely prefer Track A but both were very lovely!

Much appreciated, ;)

TRack A is nicer because it, in the end, has a happy ending. But Track B...thing is, Alec was much more secure in that. He was on his own turf, really, as soon as the movie started. He could have kidnapped James and kept him as a sex slave any time he wanted. Instead, he didn't. He went onto James' territory (Track A) and almost got killed for his efforts.

To have a sex slave, or a happy relationship? Decisions, decisions... :p

You already know I'm one sick puppy (heh ;) ) so you won't be surprised if I say that Track B blew me away... all that pain, all the angst, and no happy ending! *shivery shiver*

I really like this, even the 'happy' track is angst-ridden: you had me on the seat of my chair! *sigh* I'm seriously addicted to GoldenEye slash by now. All your fault. Bad Lanna! No biscuit! *veg*

seeing as how I was just rereading Walking The Dog, the answer to that is a resounding 'yes'. :p

Good. That means you'll write some. Of course you will.

And you're blaming me for what?

whatever your weapon, Alec had a scar for it.
That line says more about Alec than anything else ever written. Of course, his deepest scar isn't visible. It's James. And no matter which track his life follows, as long as James is in it, there can never be true happiness. Even the sweetest of 006/007 fic yields a touch of angst.
