Oh this breaks my heart. Poor, broken Kanae finally finding someone who might be able to make her happy in the worst possible place. I just want to hug her.

I know. Kanae is just so screwed up after Sayuri leaving and Hisae marrying. It's like... every time she decides to trust a relationship, she has to let it go. She really doesn't want that to happen here when it could mean everything to both herself and River Troupe's top star.

But yeah... Itoshi could make her so happy, but she has the risk of also making her extremely unhappy... what to choose? For now, Kanae makes the safest choice.

She'll be hugged, though. :P Trust me, I like this pairing too much not to give them a little happiness, no matter how screwed up it is.
