Just wanted to drop off a quick review, since I love this so much. ♥ As with everything you write involving Kanae, it's beautiful and poignant and also feels a bit like a heart breaking inch by inch. In a very good way, though. Nobody writes that one moment of intensity - like you say, of one's identity rising from the ashes like a phoenix - the way you do. I love this. Thank you.
