Chapter: 22/?
Synopsis: Neither one, Kouyou or Yuu really remembered them, but Shinji and Naoyuki still kept an eye on them when they had nothing else to do. Kouyou had lost his fairies when he turned ten because he no longer needed his magical fairies to help him. In other words, he had gotten too old and they had to be assigned to another child. The most they could do for Kouyou was watch him from afar and use limited magic to help him, but only in situations when he was in danger. He wasn’t in danger too often --at least not since Takashi’s memory was erased so he didn’t remember how he managed to break his arm, and Kouyou had no idea either'.
Comment: First of all, I edited the warnings and list of fandoms because some of the bands were only used in certain chapters, and aren't important anymore (I only had to get rid of ABC and D, I guess). I also didn't realized Kazuki/Shin wasn't listed, so I added that. It only took me 22 chapters to realize that *feels stupid* Sorry, once again, for keeping you guys waiting. I know I fail epically as an author. =/
“Yuu!” Kouyou yelled at the top of his lungs. God, Yuu was being so annoying and acting like a child by stealing his juice box and drinking it. There was only so much juice in those boxes, and Kouyou wasn’t going to through the lunch line to get another one. That line was extremely long, and all the good juices were gone already.
Yuu snorted, sending juice flying out of his mouth at his lover when he tried to twist his body away, but he wasn’t able to move quick enough. “What?” He used his sleeve to wipe the juice away from Kouyou’s cheek. “I’m thirsty.”
“Then get your own! That’s my juice box, and I got it for a reason. I’m thirsty!” Kouyou whined and reached out for the box, but Yuu shook his head and turned away.
“So, I’m thirsty too, and the lunch line is all the way over there and too long.” Yuu whined back, earning himself a slap to the back of his head. He frowned, turning around to face his lover. It wasn’t nice to hit someone you love. “Kouyou, sharing is caring. How are we supposed to get married if you won’t share with me? What happens when we get stranded on a deserted island, and there’s only one bottle of water? Are you going to hog it all and let me die, or are you going to share? Husbands are supposed to put their significant other first. That’s how it works, and you’re not doing your share.” He stuck out his tongue.
“But we’re not married yet!” Kouyou snatched the juice box back with a grin. “Besides, the chances of us ending up on some deserted island are very unlikely. And if we ever are, we’ll be surrounded by water, so you can have that! Remember, sharing is caring, Yuu.” He rolled his eyes.
“It’d be salt water! I can’t drink that!”
“The fishies do, and so can you.”
“Fish and humans are different! That’s like saying dogs lick another dog’s ass, so you have to lick mine. It’s not going to work, and you’re not doing it.” Yuu shook his head as Kouyou giggled.
“I guess you’re right; you refuse to bottom.” Kouyou shrugged, sticking the straw in his mouth and attempting to take a drink, but sadly there was no more juice left. He balled his hands up into fists and slammed one down on Yuu’s thigh. “You imbecile! You drank it all! Now I’m going to die of thirst!” The blonde whined like a baby and kicked his feet as they sat under their usual tree. “That’s it mister, tonight you’re definitely bottoming.”
Both boys suddenly grabbed their heads as two rocks landed hit them in the head. “I don’t need to know about your fucking sex lives while I’m eating, jackasses.” Takanori’s annoyed voice reached their ears. He was sitting on the other side of the tree next to Akira with his knees pulled to his chest and a sandwich in his hands. He glared at his friends as he chewed his food slowly before he turned his attention back to his boyfriend.
“But… But… We have such an exciting sex life! There was this one time my mom wasn’t home and Yuu came over, and-”
“And I don’t think I want to discuss that sort of thing with those clowns.” Yuu stuck his tongue out and made a face, “They’re not mature enough to handle it, and Takanori looks like he’s going to kill one of us if we keep talking.” which was true because the grip on Takanori’s sandwich caused the sandwich to fall apart, but Kouyou didn’t care.
“Fine.” The blonde rolled his eyes. If he couldn’t talk about their sex life then he’d just have to talk about something less interesting. “Since we can’t talk about that, Akira, how good of a lay is Takanori? I always wondered, but I guess that’s weird, isn’t it? I always assumed he was a bit-”
Kouyou clutched the side of his head and whined, leaning his head on Yuu’s shoulder. “Fucking midget.” He muttered under he breath when Yuu began rubbing his head for him.
“Shut up.” Takanori tossed his sandwich back into his paper bag, suddenly not interested in it. He didn’t feel like eating much anyways, not after last night, that is. Around midnight he had gotten a call from none other than his worry wart friend, Yutaka, who was rambling on about Shin and Kazuki, and something about danger and everything else under the sun until Takanori had to tell him to go to sleep and not worry about a thing. In the end, Takanori realized something was wrong. Shin was acting weird, and Shin was always so quiet and calm. Today he was the complete opposite. His eyes darted to Yutaka anytime he got the chance, especially if Kazuki was near.
“Do you think Kazuki is going to do something to Yutaka?” The smaller boy suddenly asked, looking to his sides to see if his friends were paying attention. Of course Yuu and Kouyou had been off in LaLa Land for the past however many days, and they didn’t know the extent of what was going on between their friends. Akira, however, raised an eyebrow and looked across the schoolyard where his mentioned friend sat on a bench by himself.
“There’s a possibility.” The blonde shrugged. “Toshimasa-”
“It’s always Toshimasa this, Toshimasa that.” Takanori grumbled angrily. He still didn’t like the popular boy even if there was nothing between him and his boyfriend.
“We discussed this Takanori.” Akira snapped. “Anyways, Toshimasa said something last night on the phone-”
“You’re talking to him on the phone again?!” Takanori squealed, causing Kouyou to laugh on the other side of the tree.
“I told you I was going to be talking to him, but you were too busy looking at that stupid magazine from some store, and going gaga over a pair of big dummy boots!” Akira rubbed his face before looking over at his lover.
“And there he goes with that ‘big dummy’ thing again.” Takanori shook his head while Kouyou giggled into his hand.
“ANYWAYS,” Akira yelled, shoving Taknori with so much force he fell over onto his side. “Toshimasa said Kazuki would more than likely try to get Yutaka in trouble somehow so he would never be able to see Shin again.”
“Then you have to make sure that doesn’t happen. I really don’t need Yutaka calling me again in the middle of the night, crying, and saying ‘But I love him~ I don’t get it. Why does Kazuki hate him? Shin never did anything~’ and then go on a rant about how sweet and loving Shin is, and how much he cherishes him. Look, I love Yutaka and Shin as much as the rest of you, but if I hear him one more time, I’m going to take your damn nose sock thing, and I’m going to wrap it around his throat.” Takanori crossed his arms over his chest and glared across the schoolyard at Yutaka. He hated losing sleep because Yutaka was in the middle of PMSing.
“You can’t do that! She’ll go away for murder, and she’s too sensitive for the big house!” Kouyou started yelling, mimicking Akira’s voice the best he could. “What ever would I do without her gracing my face with her beauty?”
“Oh shut up. I don’t sound like that.” Akira snapped.
“No, but he is saying the same thing you would.” Yuu chimed in with a grin. “I bet you’d date that damn nose thing if you weren’t with Taka.”
“How would that even work out? He can’t fuck a nose sock.” Kouyou tapped his chin as if he were deep in thought. “I mean, there’s nothing to put it in, and it can’t, well y’know…”
“SHUT UP!” Akira yelled, pushing Takanori again in a sad attempt to get to his friends. Takanori grabbed his lover’s belt, pulling him back to a sitting position.
“You’re a bit sensitive about her. You never get that mad when someone insults me, asshole.”
“That’s because you’re not sensitive.”
“Well duh! You’re the sensitive one! If we were both sensitive, our relationship would be so fucked up.”
Kouyou shook Yuu’s leg, leaning over with an eyebrow raised. “Y’know, those two are like an old couple except they act like a young couple.” He sat up straight again, shifting his eyes to the side to look at the other couple.
“That… made no sense.”
“It made plenty of sense, Yuu, and you’re going to have to start agreeing with me if our marriage is ever going to work out. I can’t marry a man who doesn’t agree with my every word!” The bell rung loudly, signaling everyone to return to their classrooms. The four boys jumped up quickly and began walking back to the building when Takanori popped up between Yuu and Kouyou with a smirk.
“Again?” He snorted as he looked at the two of them. “Yuu, didn’t you learn a thing when he thought you were married?”
Kouyou stopped and placed his hand on Takanori’s shoulder and hung his head. “Takanori… Akira is bi for your mom.” …SMACK

“Psst~” Manabu trained his eyes on the teacher in front of the room. She was pointing at a math problem on the board that the class was seeming to have issues with.
“Manabu~” Manabu narrowed his eyes and kept his attention on the front board, but it was kind of hard with Kazuki sitting next to him. They were sitting too close. Kazuki had scooted his chair over so their legs were touching, and no one in the class was saying a thing. They knew better than to say a thing about Kazuki.
“Fine, ignore me.” Kazuki whispered angrily. “I guess I’ll just have to find someone else to give this nice necklace to. I originally bought it to let you know how sorry I am for being an asshole, but I guess I could just give it to some girl on a date and tell her I bought it specially for her. She’ll never question a thing.” The playboy sighed dramatically with the necklace between his fingers, swinging it back and forth slowly.
“Why do you decide to talk to me in the middle of class, Zuki?” Manabu leaned back in his chair, his leg rubbing against his lover’s. A smirk played across his lips. Kazuki was so clueless about their relationship. The taller boy didn’t even know he was in Manabu’s former place. Kazuki was the one who was being played this time.
“Because no one is paying attention to us.”
“Actually,” Manabu’s hand found itself running along Kazuki’s leg, “everyone tends to pay attention to the people whispering while the teacher is talking. They’ll definitely listen to our conversation because everyone thinks they can get in your pants now that you’re out of the closet, but you’re not allowed to be with anyone other than me so they can’t get in your pants.”
Kazuki grinned, covering Manabu’s hand with his own, “Of course they can’t. You’re it.”
Manabu wanted to laugh; he wasn’t stupid. Kazuki was still sneaking around with Shin, not to mention he was more than likely hooking up with other students. Before he only did it so people didn’t know he was gay, but now it didn’t matter. And the stupid part was Kazuki still tried to get the attention of the girls, and he didn’t even like girls. Kazuki was nothing but an attention whore and a backstabber.
Manabu turned his attention back to the teacher when Kazuki spoke again. “I’ll give this to you when class is over.” Kazuki winked, and Manabu tried his best to not roll his eyes.
It was a pretty necklace, Manabu decided when he was sitting in his next class. It had a gold chain with a gold ring hanging off. It was a bit cliché to give your lover such a necklace, especially with their names engraved in it, but Manabu found himself liking it more than he probably should have. Part of him thought Kazuki had finally learned his lesson and decided to stop playing him all the time, but the better part of him didn’t care. He was over Kazuki --or at least over him as a lover-- and only keeping him around to find out what he was going to do with Shin. He knew it was only a matter of time before Kazuki decided to let him in on a few things, and Manabu would run off and let Toshimasa know so he could tell Akira who would warn Yutaka. It was a great plan, although it was a bit complicated in a few ways. To begin with, Manabu didn’t want Toshimasa to know he was involved with Kazuki again. If he found out he would be devastated and think Manabu was like all the other guys. Although it seemed like he was, he really wasn’t.
His fingers played with the necklace as he sat back in his chair and completely ignored everything the teacher was saying. The class held no interest for him today. All he could think about was explaining to Toshimasa that he had something he needed to do for the night, so he wouldn’t be home. He could tell Toshimasa wanted to do something, and he already had plans with Kazuki. Truth be told, Manabu didn’t really want to spend his night with Kazuki. Who knows where that would lead him, but he promised.
Carefully, he tucked the necklace under his shirt and pretended to copy notes off the board when the teacher began walking around the classroom. He would have to think about his date with Kazuki later, it seemed. Everything had to go well so Kazuki wouldn’t suspect a thing, but then again Manabu didn’t want to be with Kazuki. It would only be a matter of time before he actually grew a pair and left.

“Do you work tonight?” Yuu nodded, his hand holding onto Kouyou’s firmly as they walked home. Yuu couldn’t even remember the last time he had actually gone to work. The only thing he could remember was a certain fairy showing up. Hopefully tonight he would be able to work without all the distractions.
“All night.” He shrugged, “But I’ll call you on my break if you want. I think I’ll even ask for extra hours. If I’m going to buy a ring I need all the hours I can get.” He glanced over at a giddy Kouyou and laughed to himself.
“But don’t get a really girly ring or anything like that. I think we should have matching rings, y’know?” Kouyou was off on another one of his many wedding-related rants that involved way too much thought on Yuu’s end. He already knew what ring he was going to get for Kouyou, and he already know how he was going to propose. Little did Kouyou know, but Yuu already had some money set back for something he wanted, but he was going to be nice and put it toward their rings instead.
“Just leave it all to me, Kou. I promise I won’t disappoint you.” The raven-haired man began swinging their hands between them with a smile stretched across his face.
“Kouyou?” Yuu looked to the side when they stopped to cross the street. His hand tightened around Kouyou’s unconsciously when the blonde looked at him.
“Yeah?” Kouyou looked too cute with his head tilt to the side, and the small smile on his lips only proved Yuu’s thoughts right.
“About what you said earlier… there’s no way I would willingly bottom while we’re dating.” No, Yuu was the dominant one. He would never let Kouyou top unless there was a good reason for him to do so.
“But that’s not fair!” Kouyou frowned. Eventually he would have to top because it wouldn’t be very nice of Yuu to be the seme all the time. Some time they would have to switch. “Since you said ‘while we’re dating’ that means I get to fuck you on our honeymoon!” Kouyou suddenly yelled, pointing his finger in Yuu’s face when the lights changed and they were allowed to cross the street.
“Don’t yell that!” Yuu clamped a hand over his lover’s mouth. “And that’s not what I meant! Kouyou, I’m the manlier of the two of us. I think that means I get to top all the time. It’s like, a rule or something.” There was no way he was going to bottom, damnit.
“Nope. You’re the one who didn’t cover our sex life as a married couple, so that means I get to fuck you as many times as I want. I promise you’ll love it.”
“How in the hell would you know?!” Yuu whined, tilting his head back as if he were a child again.
“Because, are you forgetting I’m the one who’s always getting fucked? I should know how it feels, duh~” The blonde rolled his eyes.
“How many times can you say the F-word in this discussion?” Yuu grumbled.
“And besides, I’ve never had sex when I wasn’t on the bottom. I’m a man too, y’know, so I would like to be on the top every once and awhile.” Kouyou pouted with large eyes, bringing his free hand up to his mouth feigning innocence.
Yuu sighed, “We’ll see.”
A/N: I read a story earlier that was pretty sad, so I decided to sit down and write a happy Aoi/Uruha chapter. I don't like it when stories end in a sad way. Y'know the kind that build up with total happiness and then all of a sudden it all just comes crashing down? So I thought to myself "I should write a chapter that's happy for them" because Uruha crying is just a terribly cute and sad mental image.
The next chapter is already written. I'll probably post it tomorrow, depending on how many lovely comments I get on this one with your thoughts. I ask for comments on this one because it may influence the next chapter a bit. There are bits and pieces I may change, so let me know what you think. I can't decide if you guys will hate me or love me for what is going to happen next. harharhar.
