Chapter: 11/?
Synopsis: Neither one, Kouyou or Yuu really remembered them, but Shinji and Naoyuki still kept an eye on them when they had nothing else to do. Kouyou had lost his fairies when he turned ten because he no longer needed his magical fairies to help him. In other words, he had gotten too old and they had to be assigned to another child. The most they could do for Kouyou was watch him from afar and use limited magic to help him, but only in situations when he was in danger. He wasn’t in danger too often --at least not since Takashi’s memory was erased so he didn’t remember how he managed to break his arm, and Kouyou had no idea either

“I have a question~” Yutaka and Shin had spent the entire night thinking up the perfect profile for Kai. With small arguments and pure amusement, the two created an About Me in a notebook that was sure to be convincing to anyone who read it. All they needed was a girl willing to be Kai, and that was how the two ended up at Midori’s house at noon. They knew for a fact that Amaterasu wouldn’t dream of helping them because she would go on about identity theft and how it was wrong, and Yutaka wouldn’t never say it to her face but he always thought Midori was Kouyou’s prettier sister. She was just a lot shorter than her brother with milky white skin, piercing eyes, and long black hair. She was the epitome of beauty.

Midori looked at the two boys standing on her front porch and cocked her head to the side. Her brother’s friends never visited her, nor did they hardly speak to her. It was weird to see them because, lets face it, they were kind of odd compared to what she was used to; Kouyou and Yuu was just beyond strange so it was odd to see a normal couple. Yutaka had his eyes rolled to the side with a smile that meant he was about to ask something stupid, and Shin was looking at his feet with a blush. Something was up, and she was afraid to ask, but had to anyways.

“Dare I ask what you need?” The two boys looked at each other and giggled. She wanted to face palm herself because she knew she was going to regret asking the question.

“Well~” Yutaka giggled again. “will you let us use a picture of you on a fake profile so Shin’s parents will think he’s dating a girl?”

“What?” Midori leaned forward with wide eyes.

“Yutaka~! Don’t just ask that. You have to explain the situation to her!” Shin whined because at the rate they were going, they would never get a picture for their profile.

“Fine!” Yutaka pulled both Shin and Midori into the girl’s apartment to begin explaining. He couldn’t help but think that it would just be easier if Midori would just let him take a picture of her.

---

“Is there anything you want or need?” Soft fingers were raking through Yuu’s hair soothingly as he moved closer to the body next to him. He shook his head clutching Kouyou’s shirt loosely in his hand.

“Just stay with me.” Yuu spoke softly as his lover wrapped his arms around him and pulled him closer. Even if Kouyou had a million and one things to do, he still stayed by Yuu’s side. His room was suffering from days of it not getting cleaned, and it was driving him nuts, but Yuu needed his attention more than the room.

Yuu sighed softly with his head resting on the other’s chest, listening to the steadiness of his heartbeat. “Kou?” He muttered softly, turning to look up at the blonde briefly before turning away again. Kouyou looked down at him and hummed softly to show he had heard him. “You wouldn’t really leave for Kazuki, right? Even if he were gay?”

It was stupid of him to mention it because there was always the chance they would end up fighting about it like they usually did. Kazuki was the core of all their arguments, and frankly, Yuu was tired of it. Aside from the other student and all the drama that followed him, the couple never argued about anything unless they were joking.

Yuu shouldn’t have to feel so insecure about his relationship, but he couldn’t help it. Even when they weren’t talking about Kazuki, Yuu still felt as if Kouyou was thinking about him. It didn’t matter if they were lying together quietly like they currently were; Yuu always felt as if Kouyou was thinking of the other boy. That was why Yuu hated Kazuki so much: he was on Kouyou’s mind all the time.

“Of course not.” Kouyou ruffled dark hair with a reassure tone before he was rolling them over so he was looking down at the older boy. “Why would I leave you if we’ve been together for this long? Doesn’t it seem a bit stupid to leave someone you love if that someone puts up with all the stupid things and never gets too mad?” He pressed his lips against the middle of Yuu’s forehead and smiled.

“But if we’ve been together this long, don’t you think you’d get tired of me eventually?” The older boy looked up with tired eyes as Kouyou shook his head with a small pout. Yuu shouldn’t have to doubt their relationship like that. Maybe other couples grew sick of each other, but Kouyou didn’t think there was anything that could ever make him tired or bored with his lover.

“Don’t you believe in love at first sight?” Kouyou questioned and kissed Yuu on the nose. “There’s nothing that could change the way I feel for you… not even your insecurities and anger. You have a reason for everything you say and do, so I’m not worried. You only get mad at me because you think there’s that chance I would leave you for someone else. You never get mad at me just because you want to start an argument.”

“But I didn’t fall in love with you at first sight, remember?” Yuu tilted his head the best he could with the fingers that were now tangling in his hair. Kouyou only laughed and shook his head in amusement.

“It doesn’t matter because I fell in love with you at first sight.” Plush lips were curling around pierced one whilst Kouyou pressed their bodies together comfortably.

---

Midori shook her head, moving so she was lying on the couch as her brother’s friends continued to explain their situation. It was a logical reason to need her permission to use her image, but Yutaka was talking so loudly and so animatedly that her head felt like it were about to burst. For fifteen minutes the boy ranted and used his hands to emphasize his point while Shin randomly stood up to add in something the other forgot. They were talking so fast that Midori was imagining them as chipmunks.

“…and if you’d just be a doll and let me take your picture, I promise to make you the biggest most tastiest cake in the whole wide world! I’ll even make dinner for you!” Yutaka’s eyes were wide as he stood behind Shin with his hands on the shorter boy’s shoulders, pushing him forward to the point Shin was close to falling over.

“You love him that much, huh?” Midori stood up and tapped her bottom lip. “Follow me, I guess.” That was how Midori got stuck in a room with an annoying Yutaka and Shin.

Yutaka decided he wanted to be the photographer and Shin had to direct Midori so they could get the perfect picture. It was Shin’s job to make sure Midori looked extra attractive in the picture so his parents would believe him. Midori didn’t think it would be so much work to take a picture, but those crazy boys made it into a full blown photo shoot.

“More wind!” Yutaka yelled over to Shin, and the small boy ran to turn on yet another fan. There was already enough wind in the room coming from seven fans that Midori couldn’t even keep her eyes opened.

“Fix the lights!” Shin was running around the room like a maniac, panting while he attempted to do whatever he was told.

“Don’t you think this is a bit much?” Midori held up a finger and turned away so she could open her eyes. It was clear the two boys were bat shit crazy. They only had a week to get the profile up and running, but they were rushing a bit too much. Midori could have taken the picture on he own, or at least given them a photo. It didn’t have to be so difficult.

“You have to look BRIGHT! BUBBLY! AND TOTALLY FANTASTIC!” Yutaka yelled. “Not to mention to have to look extra, extra hot… not just hot. Are you following my train of thought?

“No. I can’t do this if there’s so much wind and light that I can’t keep my eyes open! Do you want a hot model or one who looks like she’s driving down the street at top speed with her head sticking out the window while yelling ‘I’m aerodynamic~’? Seriously you guys, this isn’t going to work.”

“Ah~!” Yutaka walked around the girl with his hand on his hip, “I see what you mean. Mhmm. Shin! We are taking another approach! Take the camera outside while I grab the model! We’re doing a nature shoot!”

“Nature… shoot?!” Midori almost squealed when she was picked up and thrown over Yutaka’s shoulder. God, the things she did for people…

---

Kazuki giggled to himself. Now that it was the weekend and he had nothing to do of any certain type of importance, he could finally go pay Shin a visit and make his life miserable once again. Shin’s parents didn’t know he was a bully, in fact they always thought he and Shin were friends. That’s what he told them, anyways. When Shin cried to his mom after school because he was beaten up, Kazuki came to the rescue and saved little Shin, but in reality he was the one who beat him up. No one needed to know that part of the story.

The front door opened as Shin’s mother gasped. “Kazuki! What a nice surprise. I didn’t know you were in Tokyo.” She smiled happily and led the boy into the house. Kazuki bow politely and took off his shoes before he was led to the living room.

“Actually, I’ve been in Tokyo for awhile… Shin never told you?” He pouted, looking down at his hands as if he were hurt. He smirked inwardly when he heard the older woman gasp before she moved next to him, putting her hand on his shoulder.

“I’m sure he just forgot to tell me, honey.” She rubbed his back soothingly when he started tearing up. “Sometimes Shin is just forgetful. You know how he is.”

“But… but how could he forget about me?” The boy pouted when a tear slipped down his cheek. Inwardly he was laughing at the shocked look on the woman’s face.

“Don’t be upset.” She cooed. “Why don’t you take a seat while I get us some tea.”

Soon the older lady was walking through the doorway with a tray in her hands. She smiled and sat the tray on the coffee table in front of the boy before handing him a cup. “What brings you here today?” She took her own cup and sat down.

“I just wanted to see what Shin was up to.” Kazuki answered simply. “But I can see he’s not here.” Unfortunately. If Shin were there, Kazuki would be having so much more fun because Shin would have been fidgeting in fear.

“No. He left last night because he didn’t like what his father and I had to say.” Kazuki’s ears perked as he leaned over to the lady with a look of interest.

“What did you say?” He asked innocently with a bat of his eyelashes.

“We’re moving back to Saitama in a week.”

“Why?” He sat up and covered his mouth with a fake gasp.

“Because, we don’t like the idea of him being with that Yutaka boy.” Shin’s mother shook her head. “If he’s going to date a boy, I would like him to date someone who is civilized, but I wouldn‘t want him to date a boy anyways. My son isn’t supposed to be gay. He’s supposed to find a wife.”

Kazuki began giggling once again. God, that woman was just giving him more and more ideas every time she opened her mouth. “I still can’t believe he’s with Yutaka.” He continued to giggle. “He’s to be with someone who does more than just bake cakes and smile. That’s not a man. I mean, if he’s going to be with a man, shouldn’t he be with someone who can protect him?”

“You would think that, but Shin just likes Yutaka for some reason. Did you know Yutaka didn’t keep kids from bullying him when we first moved here. There was this kid named Takashi that used to pick on him when we would go for walks, and Yutaka would never say a thing to make that little boy stop. I know he knew about it! He lives by the park and he was always out.”

“See what I mean?!” Kazuki stood up abruptly. “When we were kids, I used to keep people away from him. I cared about his wellbeing.”

Shin’s mother sighed and sat her cup down on the tray again, “If he was with a boy like you, I wouldn’t mind so much. That Yutaka… I just don’t’ like him.”

“He’s a minor, which makes you the boss.” Kazuki held up a finger. “Instead of arranged marriage, make it arranged dating. That ought to teach him. All you have to do is find someone like me.” He smiled when the woman’s eyebrows shot up.

“Or he could date you.”

“Well, that’s always an option.” Besides, Manabu wouldn’t care if he knew what was going on.

---

“Sweetie,” Kouyou pulled the comforter off his lover and held out his hand, “you haven’t eaten all day. Why don’t you come downstairs and eat? My parents went out for dinner, so I cooked. It’s just the two of us~”

Yuu grabbed the hand that was offered to him and pushed himself up. “You’re not trying to kill me, right?” He grinned when Kouyou pulled particularly hard, almost sending Yuu flying out of the bed if it weren’t for Kouyou’s body stopping him.

“Nah~ I love you too much to kill you.” The blonde smiled, pulling his sick lover into his arms. “I actually tried this time, but I’m open for critique, Mr. I-know-so-much-about-cooking.”

“I’m sure you did fine.” Yuu was pulled out of the room and down the stairs, and forced to sit at the table. Yuu could only watch while Kouyou ran around the kitchen fixing their plates while he hummed out of tune. He loved Kouyou, but damn was his humming unbearable, and it wasn’t like he could tell him to stop.

“Did I tell you I was working on my singing voice? Anchang has a cool voice, so I want to sound like him.” Kouyou was talking happily, setting the plates on the table before he went to get their drinks. “Whatcha think? Should I start singing?”

‘God, no.‘ Yuu thought to himself. Kouyou’s singing voice was awful. He felt bad for anyone who had to listen to it more than he did.

“Oh~ sure!” He nodded with mock-enthusiasm. “You can do anything if you try hard enough.” and boy did Kouyou have a lot of trying ahead of him.

“You’re so mean.” Kouyou whipped around with a pout. “I know when you’re trying not to hurt my feelings!” He sat across the table after placing their drinks in front of them.

“…did you make another wish?” Yuu closed is eye and pinched the bridge of his nose. God, he was going to have to kill that Shinji.

“I just wanted to read your mind!” Kouyou crossed his arms. Maybe reading Yuu’s mind was a bad idea because he was a very mean person on the inside.

“There are just some things you should never wish for.” The older boy shook his head and looked down at his plate, but when he looked up he almost screamed because right in the middle of the table was a certain fairy sitting cross-legged.

“How would you know that? You’re not a fairy~!” Shinji pointed a finger at the boy. “You and your fake wisdom!”

Kouyou suddenly gasped, “YUU! WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!”

“But I didn’t say anything!” Yuu defended himself.

“Ah! Ah! Ah~!” Kouyou tsked, “I can hear your thoughts, remember?”

“Anyways~“ Shinji clapped his hands. “Kouyou, have you decided to help us? Naoyuki is floating around the house like a maniac because he doesn’t think he can beat Isshi by himself.”

“Ugh~”

“Kou-”

“Shut up~” The blonde whined. “I guess I can do it… BUT!!!” He yelled loudly, “I wish Yuu was feeling better so he can help me, and I want a tree made of pocky in the backyard that won’t get soggy when the weather is bad.”

“Yes sir!” Shinji waved his wand eagerly. “Don’t you dare tell Nao I did that. I believe that is what he calls a ‘stupid wish’.”

‘Wouldn’t he-‘

“Shut up, Yuu. Eat your dinner or I’ll start singing again.”
