[Jinx, taking his weekly stroll about the ship, never expected to hear the sound of death. Well, at least not coming from what sounded like Veld.

Jinx banged on the door.]

Someone diein' in there?

[Veld hears the banging and manages to drag himself out of bed. The only reason he knows that he actually hears a knock is that he felt the vibration. He'd been hearing things all day, like his dead ex wife's voice, amongst the worst]

I [Veld coughs and can feel his nose bleed. He wipes the back of his hand against it.] Feel like it. May be catching, stay out there.

[Oh, Veld. What a funny man you are. Jinx is just going to chat for a bit.]

I didn't either. [there's a loud hacking sound] I blame Redd. [Veld breathes as deeply as possible and tries to steady the urge to hack up a lung] Is anyone else ill?

[Mordin passes by and pauses as he hears coughing from the other side of the door. He spends a moment wondering whether it's wise to bother whoever might be on the other side, but in the end his background as a doctor gets the better of him and he decides to knock.]

[Slumped against the door from his last visitor. He groans from where he was half asleep]

[Zelda has taken to wandering frequently around the halls - shes been restless lately.

However, she does pause outside the door when she hears the hacking.]

Are you alright?

[Veld coughs again. He's going to just lay against the door and hope he doesn't bleed through his nose forever]

Sick. [His response is labored] I'm thinking it will pass.

[Zelda pauses and rests a gloved hand against the door.]

Would you permit me entrance? I can possibly heal you, if you will allow me to make an effort.

[It takes Veld a long while to get up off the floor and move out of the way of the door. He breathes deeply and flops back to his bed.]
