When: Things have settled down again at Baker Street. John and Sherlock have not discussed the incident in the kitchen, Lestrade's layup at the hospital or Peter's visit.
It took two days for Sherlock to locate his bows but only because he hadn't exactly been looking. The need for cigarettes had vanished and he was back to patches. Today, because it was slow, required only two of them, one on each arm to balance himself out.
Sherlock had just sat down to go through his email when he blinked at a name of an old acquaintance from University, a man who had been one year his senior and old friends with Sebastian. It seemed that people from his past kept on popping up again and again.
It was curious.
"John, we'll be having a visitor," Sherlock explained and an hour later, Dr. James Mortimer arrived at their flat looking highly forlorn and a bit nervous.
