I was so horrified. It's not unusual for Cora to pick up a rock, a stick, even a leaf to carry around on our walk...but when she picked up a dessicated, run over RAT I was ready to GAG. And I don't gag easy.

Gracie has twice now found alive baby moles in our backyard and she picks them up and carries them around. She doesn't really hurt them, and I guess it's less gross than a road kill rat...BUT STILL.
