K. Nordlund "The Swedish-Norwegian Union Crisis"

This is perfect, I'd say. Both books were written while the dissolution of the Union was going on, so the authors basically describe (with a lot of emotion) the same events  from different perspectives. They are both terribly biased and not holding back, of ( Read more... )

I wouldn't have found them myself because usually I prefer physical books when it comes to research... also, I am lazy)

Ahhhh I've been wanting to read that "Sweden and Visions of Norway" for a while. But the actual book would be too difficult for me to get my hands on. Will you make mention of your impression of it after you have had a chance to read it?

I generally prefer physical books too, but eh. Let's just say Scandinavian history is not among main scientific interests here, so I'm desperate enough to put up with inconveniences. :(
