I'm going to dedicate a section of my website to stupid Christians. And it's going to be entitled "Pat Robertson is a Dink" and it's going to contain articles like this one

What is that saying -- that if God hates all the same people you do, you might not be following God. That saying was invented for people like Pat Robertson. I cannot believe the nerve of that guy!!

I have some nominations for additional Stupid Christians:

*that preacher who holds up the "God hates fags" signs at military funerals and assorted places
*the Southern Baptist Convention
*Kirk Cameron
*the authors of the "Left Behind" series
*the preacher who invented Hell House (the haunted house that's supposed to scare you into becoming Christian)

Not that I've thought about this or anything ... ;)

yeah, all of 'em are getting included. I've got more, too. Oh, I have SO MANY MORE. Seems like all the time somebody's flapping his jaws inadvisedly. I mean, really. It takes a special kind of stupidity to openly say such really offensive and obviously idiotic stuff. I'm embarrassed for people like that, who are so openly hateful and yet purport to follow God. WHERE'S THE LOVE?

OK, one last thing ... I looked up the quote I mentioned and got the accurate version -- it's not an old saying, I don't think -- just a quote from an author I really like, Anne Lamott.
