This was a prompt posted a while back.

Dark gloom and the white noise of talk. The usual words are exchanged. The same grimaces. The same cackles of discord. He has to admit that after a while it gets tiring. May souls forgive him but after a while…it gets numb

Uh huh, hard for me to say everything.

Let's see, off the top of my head...I liked how you pushed all of my thoughts when having Batman consider Harley, you have him consider everything--the kiss in Harley's Holiday ep. that always tickled me, the events in Mad Love, his guilt over the manipulation, drawing a parallel between his SOUL-CHILLING LAUGH (for I have heard Kevin Conroy's in the ep. adaptation and it was creepy and brilliant) and the Joker's; how Batman genuinely thinks Harley ridiculous--he feels sorry for her, and yet not sorry for her.

I love how it ends with Batman realizing the basic idea of Joker being human with Harley, and how that horrifies him. (Though minor nitpick--me being kinda slow, I would've liked Joker's action to be more clarified, the action that makes Batman have that horrified realization--is he just gently moving toward Harley even while beaten up.)

Aw, thank you so much I'm glad to know I did okay, as for the ending that's pretty much it.I'm not too sure on how to clear it up though...
