Oh, wow, this is wonderful, and I love everything that's underneath the surface here, the tension between them. One thing I really liked was how you never used a name for Greta's boyfriend, because in Chris's mind, he probably wouldn't have a name, he would be so upset at the very idea of Greta having a boyfriend that he just thinks of him as "the boyfriend." Haha, or am I reading too far into things? Either way, I thought that was a subtly effective way of showing Chris's disdain for Greta being with someone else.

The interaction between Greta and Chris was sharp, edged with something more, but also sweet. I really love your writing style.
