The heat did not seem to be affecting Megatron at all. When the newcomers entered, he was facing away from the door, wiping the weapon down one last time with an oiled rag. He turned to face the newcomers with a friendly look, tossing the rag onto the worktable and taking a clean one into his hands. "Nicholas," he greeted. "And....a mechanic?" he asked, optic sensors scanning Vash. "It's about time," he commented, breaking into a smile. "I was wondering if I would be doing my own repairs for the rest of my time here."

He gestured to the formidable weapon, leaning against the workbench. "As you can see, your gun is repaired."

"Hey," Wolfwood greeted with a slight wave of his hand. When his gun was pointed out to him, he promptly left Vash to Megatron and went to inspect the Punisher.

"You two get 'long, though I wouldna trust Spikey with any repairs," he said as he hefted his gun up. True to the robot's words, the gun's shell was remade with no signs of its previous wear. He temporarily held it up and while the weight remained the same, the balance was improved. Opening the long arm's cover, Wolfwood grinned to find it slid open smoothly.

There was only one way to check the trigger mechanism. "Tongari, stand still for a sec, would ya?" He aimed the long arm at Vash.

Then gun didn't lower, but Wolfwood did lean his head off to the side so the side arm wouldn't be covering his view of Vash.

"Yer coat's still bullet proof? You'll be fine."

Megatron stared at the two. They obviously knew each other, probably from before they were taken here. He raised a hand. "Surely you can wait until you're outside the forge to test it out....?"

It was like being back with the Decepticons. There were times when Megatron felt more like a babysitter than a war leader, especially around Shockwave and Soundwave.

Wolfwood looked back and forth from Plant to Robot. "Ch'," he muttered, putting the cross down and leaning on it. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it from the coals of the forge.

"It'd be easier if I coulda tested it out 'fore wrappin' it back up," he continued, chewing on the cigarette.

Yet, despite his complaints, he was hopping onto the workbench he found the gun earlier. From the inside of his jacket, he took out a long roll of cloth that he used to methodologically wrap up the Punisher.
