They all agreed: they were delicious!
With that in mind or what they had left of one anyway, the mass of zombies that had previously been confined within the small cabin all came pouring out after they finally smashed the puny door down. The brains were all theirs for the taking ( ... )

And the delectable scents of human flesh wafting through the cracks in the door kept on multiplying, feeding the frenzy -- two, three, six! Like lambs to the slaughter; now all they had to do was get to the dinner table.

Ocelot stepped back to give himself room to fire his revolvers, nearly stumbling in his haste.
But he couldn't shoot the zombie off, because Big Boss was exactly between Ocelot and the zombie, and they were both moving too much for him to get a quick shot at whatever brief part of the zombie wasn't being blocked.
His thoughts ran quickly. He'd have to circle around to get a good shot, but there wasn't enough time to move, he had to shoot now because John was being eaten alive--
Ocelot turned his elbow and fired at the outside wall of the cabin. The bullet left a splintered dent, but did not go through it; instead, it ricocheted off and went straight for the back of Sammy-the-Zombie's head.
