Ageing mark #2?
(The first mark was when, five years ago, I greeted a colleague of mine a "Happy Mothers' Day." She is I think about 4 years older than me, but it implied that people "around my age" can actually be parents.)
About a week or two ago, I was sick and didn't go to work. Additionally, my head hurt, so I slept early - about 8pm. I woke up at about 12 hours after.
I was supposed to have an overnight. But at around 9pm, I was starting to feel sleepy and none of the expected people were still there. They were starting to arrive at about 10pm, 11pm. I was really tired at that time. Instead I decided to leave at around 1am.
Maybe the fact that I have a date with Priya the next day contributed to my lack of desire to have an overnight. But maybe I'm just getting old? Like, I don't want to do this anymore. Maybe I was frustrated that people were there late, and that I no longer have the luxury to stay up late both because my work schedule requires me to sleep early, and, well, maybe because my body doesn't allow me to survive like that anymore. Maybe it was because they weren't there earlier? Anyway.
I know I still like to play games - I just spent the entire day playing League of Legends and Warhammer, but... Maybe I'm not up for overnights anymore.
