[Mitsuru's sitting in the front lounge, legs crossed while reading a book on her lap. She hasn't looked up to see who came through the door.]

[ He closes the door behind him before going and taking a seat in one of the chairs. ] Heh... thanks. [ He wipes some sweat off of his forehead with the back of his hand. ] How long have you been reading that book? Seems like a lot of the time I see you you've got it with you.

[She replies back without missing a beat.]

Only a week. But it's more out of personal enjoyment than anything related to school work.

[Mitsuru marks the page she was at and closes the book before looking up and giving Akihiko a small smile.]

[ Akihiko can't help but smile a little in return. ] I'm glad you're taking the time for something like this. It's good to relax once in a while.

[it's the night after an excursion to the Tartarus, and although Yukari's tired, she can't seem to sleep. right now, she's hanging out in the lobby of the dorm, tending to a couple of minor wounds she had gotten in a particularly challenging fight that had worn everyone out. catching him out of the corner of her eye, she tries to engage him in conversation...]

[ To be honest, he's tired. The battle was... definitely not easy, but while normally that would motivate him to work out immediately upon getting back to the dorm, he doesn't feel up to it tonight. It's strange.

[she sighs, settling back in her seat once she's finished applying bandages and whatnot.]

For a couple of seconds there, I almost thought we weren't gonna make it.
