In the Sevii Islands, there is a tale of a mermaid that sings as the sun sets. No one has caught glimpse of this creature, but since the sound is coming from the sea and sounds far too human to be a Pokemon, assumptions have been made. The song is sad and melancholy, lamenting the loss of a life and love... her own life and the chance to be with her love, that is.

Bottom line? Curses suck.

The sun is lowering in the horizon as Leaf pops up from underwater, clearing her throat and savoring the fresh air. She misses him dearly, more than she has the words to express... but what would he think, seeing her like this? What would anybody think? ]
