Technical question

I've been trying to take some screencaps, but I can't get it to work. I have Windows XP and the PowerDVD program, but I don't have the version of PowerDVD that actually has a "capture" function. But apparently, I should be able to do it with the older program. I've tried hitting "Print Screen", but it doesn't work. I've also tried disabling the

Dunno for sure but I've run into the same thing with OS X. The screencap function for DVDs now requires the power software. Something about piracy.

Luckily, you can usually find it on eBay for not much money. I just got PowerDVD 6 (which has the screen capture function) for 4.95.
