I totally agree with you about #1. It would be interesting to get into Sam's brain as well. Those two keep a lot to themselves.

I'm such a Winchester whore- I got my first cat a couple years before Supernatural came out. Her name is Simon; yes Simon is a she! But the second Supernatural came out- and I fell in love with all three Winchesters- I wanted to get another cat and name it after my favorite boys... sadly I've yet to get that cat.

I always thought that I'd get two cats, as I'm prone to thinking up pair names for them: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, T-Bone and Razor (of Swat Kats fame), Mulder and Scully, Chaucer and Bronte...now there is Sam and Dean. ^_^

It's easier to think up pair names- like Dolce and Gabbana or Valentino and Armani- but I'm completely serious in wanting to get another cat just because I want to name it Winchester. Plus I love cats.
