I also love the way Cherry is portrayed here. He's kinda mysterious and hot in an amused-kind-of-way (if that makes any sense).

The way that Rayflo's affection for his Cherry really brings out the warm and squishy feelings for me.

Ahh, I'm so late replying, and not familiar enough with the fandom to know the characters, but I didn't have to -- such a lovely bit of sentimentality amidst fucked-up but desperate relationships. And your descriptions were so .... wide, and precise, and moody. I don't think it was purple at all. ♥
