Profound revelation causes anxiety attack

About a month ago I purchased a set of real handcuffs. They weren't the cheap, flimsy metal ones you find in dollar stores. (Those barely fit around my wrist.) And these I stick to:

NEVER live in the same area as your students.

I don't want to run into my 6 year old while I'm buying condoms or alcohol. I don't want my kids' parents seeing me making out with my boyfriend.

And seriously...if one of your students is in the clubs YOU hang out in, then maybe it's YOU who should be doing the outing...aren't there age limits?

I sooooo get that. The other day, I busted some kids smoking pot in front of my house (a very popular location for that and other things). As I was writing down license plate numbers I heard one of them say "Mr. McBride?!?!?!" I didn't recognize him, nor did I wish to. It's hard keeping track of all my students in Jr. High and High School.

Yes, there are age limits, and there are such things as 18 yr old Seniors, which I substitute from time to time (and might teach full time later on). One group I attend combats this by limiting the age to 19 and up (three other people in that group teach as well, but not high school).
