A: When Richard was very small his daddy told him that he had a secret cloak of invincibility that will always shield him from the monsters under his bed so long as he wears the pendant (that he always loses) so Richard thinks he is invincible and is always somehow surprised when he isn't.

A: Yes there are secret bathroom facilities every mile or so. They're very decadent with bath rooms and steam rooms and very clean toilets. Even the mens rooms have clean toilets. They are maintained by a race of creatures called the Ouashda who are small and well...I won't tell you what they do with the stuff the people leave there.
