The whole male Confessor thing bothers me so much. I can definitely see this happening with R/K, but I don't see how it would have to mean that their son is good. Although if they had a son in the show (and if we'd gotten season 3 I feel the storyline would've demanded it) Richard would definitely convince Kahlan it would be okay. It just seems so unfair that R/K's son is good while all the other ones are evil - or are they?

Oh I completely agree. It's flawed logic on their part. They both desperately want him to be good so they don't look at how it could actually be something that they as parents have no control over. If I continue this series I might have to explore that a little more.

And you're right about how a potential season 3 if we hadn't have been cancelled would have demanded it since Bridget's pregnancy at the time would have been impossible to hide with all their stunts.

Awwww, SO CUTE!!! The baby is finally here!! And it's a BOY!!

Richard is such a sweet husband and father! I just love him. I want to clone him!!

Kahlan leaned over towards her husband just slightly and looked down at the child. He was tiny and his eyes were squeezed shut but already she could see his father etched in the little features.<.i>

I actually had planned on making it another girl and just having it born during the Reckoning recap fic but when I was writing it the plan changed. Oh well I'll figure it out as I go. I'm glad you liked it through and yes, Richard is an amazing husband and father. I want one.
