Summary:  "Lost Memories" - Regina discovers that Daniel is alive and living in Storybrooke. She attempts to renew her relationship with him, but he has no memory of her. When she turns to Mr. Gold for help, he demands a price Regina isn't certain she is willing to pay.

I love this pairing! So, yes, I think I'll keep writing about it but the thing is that I don't usually put my plots on paper (or screen for that matter) until there's some landcomm challenge. However, if someone asks, like you do now, it can be enough for me to keep writing about it without taking part in a challenge.

I don't see though how this particular storyline could end up in anything other than disaster *sigh* but I'll see what I can do.

Shall I drop you a line when I do write a second part?

Btw, wistfulwatcher also chose the same summary and you can find the other story here. It's a great one! It had me just like you and Rizzoli... *sigh* I'd recommend it.

Oh my God you just broke my heart! To add the gif, make me have the visual at the end was just cruel (and also brilliant!). I absolutely love this. So much of it was heartbreaking but I just wanted more! In such a short piece you managed to portray so much of Regina, and the end has such believable character growth (even though it's, again, just a short fic) in her accepting that she can't go back. Beautiful.

Also, this line just got me, completely off guard:
His kindness was sincere.

Seriously, a minor line that packed such a punch with the heavy implications of what Regina's life is--the shock of sincerity, that it would be a fully formed thought in her head.

GAH. So, conclusion: YOU ROCK, and this was excellent :D
