Winter Solstice

I watched Winter Solstice twice. It was a pretty good movie! I expected it to suck, but it didn't. There wasn't exactly a plot. It felt more like peeking into the life of a family with real-life issues. These people felt real. There problems and emotions felt real. Very interesting way to make a movie ( Read more... )

OOOh! I'm REALLY glad you enjoyed Winter Solstice!! =D I love how it's a film about every-day life. The acting is so real, you just feel all the emotions being portrayed onscreen.

That was one of my favourite parts, too =) My mum was laughing heaps haha.

I love the music, and I can't find the soundtrack anywhere online! I really would like it =(

When Gabe leaves, the first time I watched it I totally cried. LOL! It was so sad! =( I got totally caught up in it.

Well, I'm not really that offended by swear words (except for the really obscene ones... but the "f" word doesn't fit in that category), so it didn't bother me too much. I don't like smoking though, but you have to admit, Aaron makes it look hot lol! xD

I loved him in WS!! =)

lol, I'm glad I enjoyed it too! It really is such a subtle movie. No scene is in-you-face. Do you own it? I was thinking about buying it used on Amazon.

Yeah, I do have it... Well, it's actually a pirated copy lol! bombshell_chic copied it for me. I reckon I could get the real copy over here, though.

Ooh, now I have to watch the movie for myself! Thanks for the heads up on the language; my DVD player has a filter though, so it'll mute all of the profanity for me. Yay, I can't wait to rent it now! Must find time to go to Blockbuster! Thanks for the review! :D

I was surprised that Blockbuster even had it! That's awesome that you have player that mutes the language. Must get me one of those...
