You have a far different outlook on these guitars then me personally. Maybe I'm too jaded or overly sensitive. I want the best, most kick ass guitar like my fav players have (ok who are mostly men). I have been super pissed off when browsing around show me try to sell me these guitars. I feel like WHOA you so don't take me seriously showing me this - you know? I mean I understand their place for young girls to start out or for small people, but it suggests women "can't handle" good guitars like the pros. Again - i'm so overly sensitive and know my perspective is a bit warped.

See, you're an adult, and you're tall--there's not mechanical reason to steer you toward guitars designed for smaller players. I did read an extremely good review of one of their higher-end acoustics (in Acoustic Guitar a few months ago) so I think they do make some pretty good guitars. I agree that it's not appropriate to steer all female players toward them, but I think it's important to have the option available.

I see what you're saying, but I actually think *I* am a little oversensitive in the *other* direction, which probably affects my outlook!

(With that said, I have two Godin guitars and no plans to buy a red Heartbreaker. I think.)
