Slowcooker lemonade chicken

I got this out of a Company's Coming recipe book (I think?) and made it on Sunday night. Late enough Sunday night that I had something else for supper (I've said plotting is not my forte as a writer, apparently this also applies to, you know, life) and have been eating it for lunch ( Read more... )

I hope you enjoy it. It's a little different, but really, lemony chicken is a good thing no matter what you do with the sauce.

The sauce may take some refining to deal with the sweetness... but of course, the right side could make all the difference.

I'm going to throw some ginger into this the next time I make it and see what happens.

I can't wait to try it, but what is "gravy browner"? Is this a Canadian thing? Sounds, well, kind of dangerous!
