...I bought some books on English. After a ridiculous misunderstanding at the corner store, I almost wound up with a black eye. Now I definitely know I need to return to Taipei sooner than later. Which I have plans to do, incidentally. I have a flight out there Wednesday. I thought to trouble my sister to pick me up.

I take it back. I am especially not looking forward to Rainie. I don't know how you put up with her at times. I suppose she isn't as bad as some though.

I thought I had it rough as a fluent French-speaker when I came here, but I still can't believe that you're learning so quickly when you've only got experience with Asian languages!!
