When we switch back to Vince's POV there will probably be more disfomfort... but he is learning to control his anger. I see them like children learning emotion regulation. Anywwy, i love that you said Howard is letting vince have him, because that is the thinking. I remember a professor talking about what a woman's body does during conception and yet even scientists refer to the female body is discussed in passive terms like even our eggs are demure. All the fifty shades of grey has me thinking about fetishizing female passivity and masculine aggression. The result? Unsettling howince for everyone!

Okay, first of all, I didn't realize how behind I was on this story, so I just now got caught up to the latest chapter and OH EM GEE- this is just amazing!!! It's so interesting to see them acting out of character with the genderswap, and also to see the insight it gives them in the contrast to their usual dynamic.

Also, it's oddly enough crazy hot--- I'm not even sure why I'm aroused by this but I totally am LOL. It's kind of the opposite of what I normally find appealing about Howince but the way you write it is just really smoldering hot. I've said it before but you're really the only one I know with the literary power to make me enjoy bottom!Howard fic ha ha ha.

And those last lines just killed me, about the "allergies"- I totally made angry dolphin sneezing noises lol.

I know, i'm actually writing quickly! Reading your comment, I remember having a similar feeling writing erase me where young Howard was all aggressive and acting like a regular guy. It felt seedy and perverse... and hot. There's something very wrong about vince and howard acting like regular guys!

I am always happy to hear someone enjoy a coupling that isn't their preference. As a fanfic fan, i know it's a hard sell! I think there will be plenty for you to enjoy in the last few chapters.

I aim to please! It was supposed to be a little of Howard reflecting on how he can't miss his chance and then back to vince and sexy times... You see what happened. Howard had way too many feelings

I'm glad Howard insisted on talking about his feelings, because it gives us a lot of good insight into the root of some of those messed-up ideas... and besides, I have a sneaking suspicion that Vince's POV is going to be a bit more difficult/conflicted. (It's clear that he's learning to control his anger, and certainly to try not to take it out on Howard, but I don't think for a minute that it suddenly disappeared! You can see the struggle there.)

I imagine vince is caught up in making things sexy while howard is caught up in wondering when to take his shoes off so Vince is having bad sex and Howard is having none! Yes! Exactly that! And it's given them both some pretty weird/sad/messed up ideas about sex. (Although lots of real people also share those ideas, probably for similar reasons.) But that's exactly why I love the terrible sex jokes--which yes, feel totally organic here, and just right for them. Because healthy sex is often as funny and awkward and tender as it is hot, and it doesn't flow smoothly or perfectly. The jokes

I have run out of words. The structure of this chapter is just wonderful and the shifts they go through are so realistic it hurts. I feel like maybe they're getting acclimatised to their switched genders, especially Vince as he starts to get a handle of his anger. It's all just coming together so beautifully.
