I don't know about you but some days I sit down at the keyboard and think, what's the point? I'm sitting here writing fanfic/writing stupid stuff/not writing but thinking about writing or doing XYZ and This Author or That Author is super cool and writes a bajillion words a month. Why even try

This is so me. I can't even imagine how anyone writes 10k+ words a days when it's a miracle if I can spit out more than 500. Every sentence has to be perfect before I can move on or it trips me up and the story comes to a complete stand still.

It is encouraging. I often have to remind myself that I have a full-time job, and that expecting myself to put out as much as someone who has eight+ hours a day to write is self-defeating.
