I'm very sorry to hear this. And I don't think anyone can say anything that will somehow make the pain easier to deal with. Just know that you aren't alone. My mom died when I was 20 years old - she was 48. You're right. It's not bloody fair.

Give yourself lots of room and space and try not to be too hard on yourself.
