Hey everyone, hope you're having a great holiday season so far!

Now as you know, lj's been going through some changes lately. I won't insult your intelligence by listing them off. If you haven't heard just drop a comment here and I'm sure someone'd be more than happy to inform you of everything.

So basically we've gotten several people asking about

I have extremely strong feelings in favor of moving to DW.

So, uh, I apologize in advance if I am a bigmouthed opinionated jerk. :(

I definitely say wait and see, for a couple of reasons.

WR is a smaller game. It might not survive the move unless most of its playerbase is ready to move. Which saddens me. I would deal with LJ's shit just for this game, if it sticks around.

Another was mentioned on my plurk and something I'd have to work around, but I would do it if we go to DW.

I agree. The player base runs a bit slower than normal, so having most, and hopefully all, players move to the new place would be best.

I also want to move to DW. I've been on LJ for nearly ten years, but lately? I've had enough.

Sure, it'd feel pretty weird going to DW instead of LJ, but I'll get used to that faster than getting used to LJ's user-unfriendly changes and how it's broken long threads - the place is no longer suitable for RP.

I'm all for moving to DW, but I think we should wait and see how this all pans out over the next few days.

Well, so far they've confirmed that they will not roll back the changes. Which is proof enough to me that they will implement their next planned change, the total site redesign, without any concern or interest for the users' opinions.

The only thing a few days is going to bring is everyone just settling in and accepting worse than we had. I really don't think we should.
