[Reflexively, Mikuru smooths the ribbon of her cadet uniform, trying to calm down before taking important business to the Headmaster. Sure, this was her idea, but she hadn't quite expected it would actually happen.

[She pulls off a beautiful salute before getting into it.]

Sir, w-we've heard about all the strange attacks lately... and we Cadets want to help! [Sure, she may not have been privy to the SeeD meeting, but some of her instructors had been replaced by subs; she'd figured it out.] Especially if there's anyone coming from our worlds.

[She's friends with Damian, of course it'd happen. He also politely salutes Headmaster, though he's decided to wear his goggles with his Cadet uniform. It's not exactly standard, but he suspects Headmaster wouldn't mind this one.]

Also, sir, we figured our clubs could probably pitch in the most and be the public face for Cadet effort. [He pauses, gathering his thoughts and remembering what his parents taught him about diplomacy.]

If you remember, we did a fine job defending Garden from monsters about a year ago... and if it happened again, we could probably do just as well the second time around.

[He salutes them in return, offering them both a warm smile.] At ease, Cadets.

[Yet when he listens to their request, he can't help frowning. Cid should have suspected that they'd heard about the off-worlders. They have sound ideas, but he's worried about their personal involvement.]

Your enthusiasm is commendable, and I'm grateful you two want to help. However... [He pauses for a moment, gathering his words.] I don't think you two need worry about going into the field. Would you two mind gathering information on threats or other likewise suspects from your respective worlds?

Some SeeDs already expounded on what they know, but it might be helpful to see what your peers know as well.

[Mikuru bites her lip. She'd be more comfortable going to face That Evil Alien Witch herself than thinking of someone else going to face her, but she also doesn't really want to argue with the Headmaster, and he does have a really good point about asking the other Cadets.

[She glances uncertainly at Damian for a moment, before looking to the Headmaster and nodding.] We'll... We'll be sure to ask everyone.
