"Fancy meeting you here."

Mitsuru walks down the last of the steps to the Quad as she says that. She's looking a bit less severe then before; a generous amount of notes and books peaking out of the opening of her book bag might explain that, as well as that there aren't any fans flying through the air this time. If anyone saw her double taking at the sight of Kamui and checking for flying objects, then it's clearly a trick of the light. B|

She gives a polite nod to him, and moves closer.

"I take it you're a member of this festival committee?"

Kamui looked up at Mitsuru and smiled. "Well, it is where the Garden Festival Committee is meeting today."

"So I read on the message board."

She doesn't move from that standing position just yet. Sitting can wait until after she's determined a few things.

"May I ask what your aim is for this festival? I will admit, the idea strikes me as intriguing...And similar to something we had where I came from."

Kamui gave her an easy smile before answering. "Well, the committee wants to promote camaraderie, so we'll be focusing on events for before the sponsorship competitions. I hope the other members show up soon so we can get into details."

He gave her a curious look. "What kind of events were there in your world?"

Honestly, Minato had first signed into the Garden Festival Committee as a lark, but the thought of giving some fresh ideas - especially after all the negative buzz behind the newsletter a few weeks back - was making him take this more seriously.

He made his way to the Quad, and headed over to where Kamui was.

"Has anyone else arrived yet?"

Kamui looked up at the new face and nodded. "A few, yes, but we'll wait a bit longer before starting. Are you also a member?"

"Well, I'm a new one, but yeah." Minato nodded.

"Any ideas you've been having on how we'll approach the Festival?"

"It's good to meet you,then!" Kamui gave the other a friendly smile. "There are a lot of ideas so far, but we'll be focusing on events right before the games. Have you heard of Homecoming Week?"
